My first impression came when my wife tried to order a latte. “I’m sorry,” said the man behind the counter, “But we don’t do any of that fancy stuff. We believe our coffee is good people shouldn’t add flavors to it.” By then I knew this was my kind of place.

The coffee didn’t disappoint. After studying a menu of about 8 different coffee varieties, (try that at starbucks) I ordered a cup of black Helsar de Zarcero from Costa Rica. The coffee was pleasantly acidic, but didn’t bother my stomach which is normally sensitive to acids from coffee. The flavor overall was very unique, and left me wanting more.

I would definately recommend giving it a try, if you’re every up in the San Fransisco area.
