Amaretto Liqueur Coffee Recipe

1 1/2 cups Warm Water
1/3 cups Amaretto
1 tablespoon Instant Coffee Crystals
Dessert Topping from a pressurized can

In a 2-cup measure mix together water and instant coffee
crystals. Micro-cook uncovered, on 100% power for about 4 minutes
or just till steaming hot. Mix in Amaretto. Serve in mugs. Top
each mug of coffee mixture with some dessert topping.

4 Ways to Make Better Coffee

Feelin’ stuck with the same old boring brew? Try these tips to liven up your mornin’ cuppa joe.

Start with Clean Equipment: Over time, dirty equipment will slowly ruin the taste of your coffee. Be sure to clean your machine with a 50/50 mix of water and vinegar. Then run an only water pot through to clean out the vinegar.
Use the Best Water: Tap water is a big no-no. You might as well stop wasting your money on gourmet beans, and go back to Folders. Be sure to use purified, spring-water if possible.
Choose the Appropriate Grind: For most drip makers, this would be a consistent, medium grind. Too course, and you’ll have a week coffee. Too fine, and you’ll have something too strong to drink. Unless you like it extra strong of course
Don’t Let It Sit: If you drink coffee all day, make many, smaller pots. Letting a pot of coffee sit for hours ruins the taste, as the coffee takes on a burnt flavor. You’re basically cooking it if you allow this to happen. Bad news

What’s the difference between coffee grinds?

What type of grind makes the perfect brew? It’s all based on what you want. Here’s a breakdown:

Course Grinds: A course grind will generally produce a milder brew. Course grinds should be used for percolated coffee, or with a french press, but never for espresso.
Medium Grinds: By far the most popular, medium grinds can be used for most anything, except espresso. A medium grind should be about the size of sand or salt.
Fine Grinds: Fine grinds will produce a stronger, fuller brew. Most typically, fine grinds are used for espresso, although they can also be used with a coffee drip or percolator.
Turkish Grinds: By far the finest, a turkish grind produces a powder like coffee grinds. Most coffee grinds cannot grind this fine.
